Track-It! 2021 R2 is now available

I am excited to announce that Track-It! 2021 R2 is now available.

This release continues the innovation of the Track-It! help desk software platform and provides another release of new content for the Track-It! customer base. This release is completely free to customers on active support. For more information on all available features and modules, visit the help desk features page.

Some highlights of this release are:

Templates can be automatically applied from Business Rules

The business rules system has been updated to allow Templates to be applied to Tickets from within a rule, making the process of filling out a ticket from a rule easier.

Rich Text support added to Self Service

Self service users can now use rich text formatting in their ticket note submissions and paste screen shots inline when filling out a help desk ticket.

Self Service Asset Field

Self service users can now see a drop down with IT Assets assigned to them when creating a new Ticket.  This is helpful if the request specifically involves an issue with one of the requestors IT assets. As with most self service fields, this field can be displayed or hidden as well as set as required if needed.

Customizable Ticket/Assignment Views

An improvement has been made to the Help Desk module which now allows views combining Tickets and Assignments to be customized and saved as custom views.

Software License Management Preview

A preview version of the new Software License Management module is included in this release.  While not production ready, users can try out the new feature and see how this new module can help streamline and simply the process of tracking software licenses across your organization.  Further enhancements and improvements will be made to this module in the next release.

Client Management 21.02.02 support

Track-It! 2021 R2 has been updated to support Client Management 21.02.02. This version of Client Management is also bundled with the new Track-It! installer.

Integrated Endpoint Management

Track-It! also includes integrated endpoint management as part of the new Track-It! platform by utilizing and integrating with Client Management. This solution uses a single agent to simplify deployment and provides the capabilities below. Contact your Track-It! account manager or partner for more details.
